NCASG Officers are elected by the regular members. For details on the responsibilities of the board members, refer to the NCASG Bylaws. Nominations may be made as follows:
President-Elect
Next election: Fall of 2026
This officer is elected by a majority vote of the membership at the annual conference business meeting for a term that begins at the close of the annual conference. The President-Elect shall commit to serve a total of three years. In year one, the officer serves as President-Elect. In year two, the officer serves as President. In year three, the officer serves as Past-President.
Secretary & Treasurer
Next election: Fall of 2026
These officers are elected by majority vote of the membership at the annual conference business meeting biennially. The Secretary and Treasurer shall each serve two-year terms that begin on January 1 and end on December 31 following two years in office.
Conference Host State
The annual NCASG fall conference is arranged by the NCASG Conference Committee. The Conference Committee consists of the host state (who shall serve as chair), the immediate past host state, and the NCASG President. Conference expenses are covered by NCASG, subject to the approval of the NCASG Executive Committee. To view available years for hosting, refer to the annual conference main page.
Executive Committee
The Executive Committee of the Association shall consist of the President, President-Elect,
Secretary, Treasurer, and immediate Past-President. A representative of the state hosting the
upcoming conference shall be a sixth member of the Executive Committee if the host state does not already have a representative on the Executive Committee.
